In the interest of health & safety of the congregation, in response to the escalating Covid-19 pandemic, the Temple will be Closed for all public starting, 1PM Thursday, March 19, 2020 through Sunday, April 5, 2020. Further course of action will be based upon the obtaining situation then. We will keep you informed in a timely manner. 
ALL worship services, classes, gatherings & outside poojas, that require your physical presence, will be suspended during this time and the Temple office will remain closed.

  • PLEASE NOTE •
    1)All Poojas can be remotely scheduled by calling the Temple number ( 904-268-7630).  As Yajman or Sponsor you will be able to participate via WhatsApp Video or FaceTime. 
    2) On all days Archanas can be scheduled between 10:15-11:00 am in the morning and 7:30-8:30 pm in the evening. Please email [email protected]   or call (904) 268-7630. to schedule. Again, as sponsor you could participate remotely.
    3) We invite & welcome sponsorships for Poojas, Abhishekams & Archanas. 
    4) Temple Office: Though it will be closed, the staff will be available to take your emails & calls at regular office hours. Outside these times please leave a voice message & your call will be returned at the earliest.

Tuesday, March 17th 2020
Dear Devotees,

HSNEF, has decided to have restricted access to temple effective from Tuesday, Mar 17 2020 till Tuesday, Mar 31st 2020 based on the CDC guidelines on C0VID19.

  • In view of the keeping safety of our office staff, Temple Office will be closed till Tuesday, Mar 31st, 2020.

  • All outside Pujas are postponed to a later date.

  • All devotees are encouraged not to come to Temple. Please DO NOT come to the temple if you are above 60 yrs of age, sick or experiencing any health issue or returned from international travel.

  • Routine worship schedule will be followed with Restricted access to devotees.

  • The live streaming of Aratis is planned for devotees for the time being. Special Archana will be conducted both morning and evening before Arati for the wellbeing of the society.

  • Temple will be closed between 1-5 pm on weekends.

  • All Saturday and Sunday classes are canceled till Mar 31st, 2020.

  • We will also start the online viewing in FB of Hanuman Chalisa - March 17th, 2020

Previous Steps We Have Instituted at the Temple:

1.All Large Gatherings in the Temple have been suspended for next 30 days.

2.Darshan, Archana & Arati are continuing per announced schedule.

3.All EFGC (Eat for Good cause) activities will be suspended for next 30 days.

4.We request devotees not to bring any cooked items as an Offering.

5.To reduce hand contact with commonly touched surfaces, some internal doors are being kept open & paper towels provided to grab handles of closed doors, faucets & toilet-flush handles.

6.Facial tissue placed in the Temple for use of devotees to cover their mouth & nose in case of coughing/sneezing.

7.Waste-baskets are provided throughout the facility for proper disposal of used paper towels.

8.Commonly touched surfaces are being wiped with disinfectant several times a day.

To Help Prevent Spread of Corona-Virus Please Observe the Following Precautions in the Temple Premises:

 1) DO NOT VISIT THE TEMPLE If YOU HAVE FEVER OR ANY RESPIRATORY SYMPTOM.

2) No Handshaking! NAMASTE is the way!

3) Keep Your Distance! Try to stay 6 ft., if not at least 3 ft. from other people.

4) Use Paper Towels to Open Doors & use Faucets.

5) Cover Your Cough/Sneeze with Disposable Tissue. Discard. Wash Hands. Or, sneeze/cough in your shirt/top sleeve near the elbow.

6)  Make conscious effort not to Touch Your Face!

7)  Wash Hands, for at least 20 seconds, after touching a commonly touched surface or sneezing/coughing. Use Hand Sanitizer liberally if Handwashing is Not Possible

 8) Do Not Linger in The Temple

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONS AT HOME (Reference: CDC)

These precautions are recommended for all, but particularly for those at higher risk of getting sick with Covid-19: Elderly, those with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high BP, respiratory, heart or kidney problems; cancer or with reduced resistance to fight infections due to certain drugs/illnesses.

- Wash hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing or having been in public place. If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

-Avoid shaking hands & touching high-touch surfaces in public places – door handles, knobs, light switches, elevator buttons, handrails, etc. Use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your hand or finger if you must touch something. Wash your hands after touching surfaces in public places.

-Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes  or use a paper towel & discard.

-Clean and disinfect your home to remove germs: practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. e.g.: tables, desks, doorknobs, handles, light switches, toilet-seat covers, faucets, staircase handrails and cell phones/pads.

- Social Distancing – i.e. Avoid close contact with people: a) Keep 6 ft (if not at least 3ft) from other people. b) Avoid crowds/large gatherings. c) Avoid all non-essential travel including plane, bus trips, cruises d) If COVID-19 is spreading in the community, stay home as much as possible.

- Stock at least a 30-day supply of any needed prescriptions, and about 2 weeks supply of household items like food staples, laundry detergent, and diapers, if you have small children.

What to Do if You Get Sick

-Stay home! If you have mild symptoms you can recover at home. Follow CDC instructions for how to take care of yourself at home.

-If you have fever, cough, and shortness of breath call your doctor.

-If you need to go to the doctor or Emergency Room, call ahead to allow proper triage to prevent virus transmission to other patients in the waiting room.
