Gladys Velarde,MD, the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Florida, Jacksonville, and her medical team will provide free screening and measurement of heart disease risk factors. This information will be later analyzed to determine better prevention methods for minority communities. You will learn what you should know about your personal heart health and your own health risks.
Please come if you are: ▪ Age 18-70 ▪ Willing to provide medical history ▪ Willing to provide finger-prick drop of blood for lipid testing ▪ Able to sign informed consent
